Cate Blanchett Developing Cancer Vixen at HBO

The premium cable system is joining with the Oscar winner to change Marisa Acocella Marchetto'sAgraphic novel/memoir Cancer Vixen: A True Story, The Hollywood Reporter has established. Marchetto,Aa cartoonist, was planning her wedding when she was clinically determined to have breast cancer. The book tells the tale of her 11-month battle with the illness. PHOTOS: The Faces of Pilot Time 2013 Blanchett will executive produce and star in the task, which is in development via HBO Films. Expert Pictures' Trudie Styler and Celine Rattray (Girl Almost Certainly, The Bell Jar) are aboard to executive produce and are ending up in authors to change the content. If the telepic progress, it would indicate the latest high-profile entry for HBO Films, which also produced awards-season favorites Game Change, Too Big to Fail, The Pacific, Cinema Verite and Temple Grandin.
